Noah had his six month birthday on July 25th. He is acting like a six month old in some ways and a bit behind in others. As with most preemies he is very small for his age. He is 12 lbs. 6 oz. , this is ok for his corrected age. He is a little on the short side for his corrected age (3 1/2 months) but Michael and I are both pretty short so I am not too concerned.
Noah has started teething... He is drooling and shoving his fists in his mouth all day long. He likes to play on/in his baby gyms and holds and pulls on plastic rings, small toys, and his blankets. He laughs quite a bit, he is either laughing or fussy most of the time without much in between. He really thinks its funny when I take his arms out of the sleeves of his clothes, his laughter during clothes changes is very infectious!!
Solid foods are going really well, he is getting three meals a day and drinking some water now. I am surprised how quickly he figured out eating from a spoon. We are feeding pears this week and he really loves them (so do I).
He is growing up so quickly and as much as I want this fussy phase to get over I also hate to see time go by too quickly. I know I will really miss him being this little some day!
